Vaping CBD is one of the best ways to get your dose because it’s super fast and effective at reliving pain. What more could you want? The pain relieving properties of CBD oil make it fantastic for people, like me, who don’t like putting prescription chemicals in their body. If you’re one of those people, then you should consider trying a pure CBD cartridge. The CBD cartridge we recommend doesn’t have any additives or chemicals, and it’s 100% organic CBD oil.

No Chemical Additives

It’s common for companies to add other oils to their CBD cartridges. The most common additive is propylene glycol, which is one of the main ingredients in e-liquid. Companies add propylene glycol because it carries flavor and will make bigger clouds than pure CBD oil.

When people see clouds, they assume that they just got a good hit of CBD. Actually, pure CBD oil doesn’t produce a huge cloud so it’s a false assumption. It might be safer to assume the opposite.

That’s one of the reasons we love this CBD pen. The only additive it has are terpenes, which are extracted from the cannabis plant just like CBD oil is extracted from the cannabis plant. Terpenes enhance the flavor in a natural cannabis way.

Some companies add artificial flavors along with propylene glycol. I don’t care for either of these with my CBD oil. I prefer to vape it straight so I get the healthiest concentration of CBD possible. I’m not vaping for flavor or clouds, I’m doing it for my health so hold the chemicals, please and thank you.

Lab Tested

Every batch is tested in an independent lab for purity and potency. As you can see below, their cartridge is showing great lab results. It’s showing that the cartridge is 45% CBD. That’s the strongest we’ve seen, and I’m not surprised.

Most companies dilute their CBD oil for various reasons. Some of the reasons are pretty good while others are simply to make more sales and profit. By diluting the oil, it appears to be more CBD than it actually is. The savvy consumer doesn’t fall for these tricks, but some people see a bigger package and think big value.

Another reason that we briefly talked about above was how companies add propylene glycol to get bigger clouds so people see it and feel they’ve had a big hit of CBD. When a company adds PG, you can pretty much assume they’ve added chemical flavorings too. PG carries flavor very well, so they’re often combined to try and mask the natural flavor of CBD. If a product forces me to take in other chemicals just to get my CBD, count me out.

Pro Tip: Don’t take long drawn out puffs. You’ll risk burning out the cartridge and won’t be able to count your dosage accurately.

Safely Extracted Via CO2

We use this cartridge because the CBD was derived from supercritical CO2 extraction. This is the cleanest extraction method possible with today’s technology.

Other companies use toxic solvents to pull the CBD out of the hemp plant material. Whenever such methods are used, there’s always some leftover byproduct that you don’t want in your lungs. Also, such abrasive methods inevitably kill off some of the more sensitive cannabinoids and phytonutrients, making it impossible to enjoy the full spectrum of benefits.

With CO2 extraction, the carbon dioxide is pushed through the hemp when it’s in a supercritical state (between liquid and gas). In this state, it’s able to extract the full range of cannabinoids without damaging them. The cannabinoids are carried away from the hemp material in the supercritical mixture.

After rescuing the CBD from the hemp plant, the CO2 is then heated up until it turns back into a gas. At this point the CBD oil drops down into a reservoir while the gaseous CO2 floats back up into a cannister. This is the cleanest and safest method of extraction, but it requires industrial machinery so it’s not cheap to do and the machine must be well maintained.

Even though they are pretty good about evaporating the CO2 out of the mixture, it’s worth mentioning that CO2 is a harmless gas, adding to the upside of this method over others.

Here’s Why We Vape CBD

Vaping brings an important benefit to the table that isn’t available via any other CBD product. That benefit is rapid delivery.

The speed in which a vape pen will deliver CBD to your body is 3-5x faster than the next fastest method. When I vape, it takes about 10-15 minutes for my pain to dissipate. That’s as fastest pain relief I’ve ever received. Pharmaceuticals don’t even work that fast. CBD oil, capsules, gummies, and tinctures don’t work that fast either. They can take anywhere from 30 mins to 1.5 hrs to kick in.

The products that go under your tongue or on your gum line may take about 30-45 minutes. If you have to digest it, like with edibles and capsules, then it can take up to 1.5 hours, depending on how fast your digestive system works. There’s nothing wrong with any of the other CBD products and I use most of them as well, but the vape pens are one of my favorite methods because of the quick onset.

The Importance of Rapid Delivery

Have you ever woke up in excruciating pain? Or made a sudden movement and found yourself in overcome by a sharp pain that won’t go away?

This happens to me all of the time. When I sleep or move in just the wrong way, my back or my neck remind me of that mistake for the rest of the day. That’s when I’m so grateful to have my CBD vape pen. It is a life saver in those moments.

Oils and edibles last longer than the cartridges, which is why I use them both. The vape cartridges are priceless in the most painful moments. It could possibly save you over an hour of being in unbearable pain. For that, I would pay a lot more than the price of one 200 mg cartridge ($45-$50).

When I Use My CBD Cartridge

I use my CBD cartridge sometimes, and my edibles & oils during other times. If you read the section above, you already know I use it for the really bad morning pains and the sudden sharp pains that stick around. I also use it in several other situations as well.

The cartridges are awesome because you can regulate the dose so easily. One puff delivers about 1 mg of CBD to your body. This allows me to use less CBD on days where the pain isn’t as bad. If you commit to this practice, you’ll find yourself saving a lot of money. With some of the other CBD products, you won’t be able to change your dose.

With edibles, you can split it into increments, but with tinctures and oils it can be a little more difficult.

I also use my vape pen when I’m out and about. It’s a little more socially acceptable to vape than it is to pull out a syringe. It just doesn’t look all that great, so I like to ward off all the negative looks. Alternatively, you can always go to the restroom to use your syringe, but I’m not fond of touching restroom handles and then putting my finger in my mouth. Sometime I’ll use edibles when I’m on the move because they’re easy to use as well, but if I’m going to be outdoors I’m bringing the vape for sure.

My main strategy is to use the vape when I’m in need of fast pain relief, then have an edible or oil about an hour before I expect the vape to wear off. Everything else is just little nuances I do to try and get the most bang for my buck or have the smoothest experience possible.
